What does the qualification cover?

Learners will be given the opportunity to practice essential basic life support procedures. This will include: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, the recovery position and CPR. 

Who is it suitable for?

This qualification is for those who have the responsibility to provide basic life support for adults and children at work, or in voluntary and community activities.

How is it assessed?

By 5 practical demonstrations.

How long does it take to complete

Learners should expect 3 and a half hours of learning, over one day.
